There are unexpected hindrances blocking  any set vision. But there are also ways if followed no vision cannot be achieved. 

Succeeding in your set goals in life is not as easy as you have seen many succeed. It is only men with unstoppable attitude can reach out with their vision. 

Men who are visionary know that success don't happen accidentally, it happens when consciousness or mind penetrate and over shadow all earthly obstacles.

Strive to know what  the great men know not what they do that brings success to them. Below are ten proven ways visionary leaders, business men and women have used in achieving their set goals.  

1. Being Aware Of What You Really Want: 

This is the first and most important thing a person should know. And consciously work towards what you want to achieve with all the strength available to him e.g. you would want to be an engineer, a pilot, broker, architect, etc. your dream / target should be objective, with mapped pattern / structure of achieving it. A specific period of time need be marked for the accomplishment.

 2. Expansion Of Thinking: 

The ability to think, imagine, and visualize before acting helps one in the accomplishment of a vision. You would get rich facts from books, research, seminars and workshops in line with your proposed vision plan. 

3. Valuing Your Vision:

This is very crucial in one’s life. Valuing the vision one has despite what may come along. You value your vision by concentrating on the achievement of that vision which is your purpose in life. Families, friends, churches or clubs associate may try to stop you but not giving in attitudes to their forces gives your vision more hope to survive.

4. Having a Mentor:

A great Mathematician, Isaac Newton, says: “If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants. Look for people who know more than you do. Try new things and think more.

Focusing on the set goal at hand helps a vision to come into reality. Avoid distractions, procrastinations and waste of resources.

This is moral attitude of a winner. All visionary leaders are questioners. Because all leaders are followers said – John C. Maxwell. Asking questions on confusing strategies that has fail to work and looking for solutions.

8. Discovering What Drags You Back: 

The more you discover your set backs the more forward you move. Do not look for friends that will not contribute anything meaningful rather go for people that would make much impact in your daily activities. 

9. Looking For Like Minds:

This is the engine of a MUST fulfilled vision. No vision can be accomplished without like related been attached. Like minds walk the same road. Its walk like the law of attraction.

10. Fueling Your Visions:

By fueling your vision, you call, text, email, research even travel some places all because of the vision. A continuous fueling  will keep you going.

THE THREE GREATEST HINDRANCES OF HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

The three greatest hindrances of human kind development  which have eaten deep in the lives of many youths nation wide. They are the reasons many people refuse to venture into their real life callings. 

To over come these greatest damaging fears in our heart of hearts, one needs self encouragement, self motivation, insightful in nature and believing in Self-Containment and God. These are the only ways shame, mistakes and fear can be conquered. 

MISTAKES, FEAR AND SHAME  are the greatest hindrances of human kind. It is only the timidity in heart would these three things affect. 

Be courageous!

Fear leads to mistakes and mistakes leads to shame and shame leads to failures. Forget your shame and mistakes and run to your success.

This word mistake, can be seen as an error in action, calculation, opinion, or judgment caused by poor reasoning, carelessness, insufficient knowledge or misconception of an idea.

In spite of your fears to act, to try new things out, to invade your world and to explore the unknown is it not better to act in boldness and kindness. 

Focusing on fear of what you will face at the moment will cause more harm than you may imagine. 

Fear is what lead men to be greedy and greedy leads to war as war put the world into unending conflict and tumor. Fear comes in many phase: it could be because of lack of education, self confidence, belief, cultural differences or racism. 

No matter what form it may appear, always cloth your face with boldness because it covers a lots of faults. Enoch Tan the creator of MindReality said in one of his article that there’s magic in boldness.   

On the other hand, mistakes are temporary occurrences that do not happen all the time. Mistake is not always but it occurs sometimes in one’s live performance.

Those who fear mistakes are of the little minds and spirits and lack self courage and determination to move forward in life and its challenges. Any action done by mistake is met to be repeated in mind. 

When you made a mistake in any of your daily activities, don’t dwell or focus on the mistakes so long because it has been committed there’s no need to cry over split milk. Be bold. Encourage yourself and move on. Besides, nobody is above mistake even if there’s, do not look your eyes nor focus attention on the words. 

We all are working towards perfection not that we are perfect I often whispering to my heart silently.

One step to take to avoid mistakes is to move slowly in your consciousness before speaking out or doing anything worthwhile in life journey. Mistake is good to our growth. Not too much of it. 

Even too much mistakes with never giving up attitude leads to greater success. It teaches us how to stop critics from others because none is faultless. Frequently occurrences of mistakes cause fear. 

But to learn how to swim, we must first of all sink with the waters. We must feed ourselves with the ability to wait. Commit thousands of mistakes in uncommon places with uncommon people but let it be in boldness and you will discover that they will still appreciate you. But you must strive to grow to help yourself.

Lastly, shame is the root cause of mistakes and fear. Over came shame you fly with your invisible wings.

It depends.

If it is one on one mentoring, No.

How does one choose a life mentor not yearly?

But if it is a mentoring program where there are many people being mentored by one person he can charge a fee. Just like coaching.

If you find someone who represents everything you aspire for you can make him a life mentor.

Is it necessary for one to have a permanent mentor to succeed in life?

Can a mentor be selective or choose his/her mentee?

Yes

Do you still at your age now have a mentor?

Mute Efe:

Yes.

Can one have many mentors?

You can have several mentors in different areas

Should one choose a person he is above in age as a mentor?

It's possible. It is called reverse mentoring.

What is the demerit of mentoring?

Sometimes conflicts can arise.

And if the mentor is not really mature he can become hostile when the mentee starts making fast progress.

Can one's wife or husband serve as ones' mentor?

Mute Efe:

Many ladies have married their mentors

But it is common with men. Most men choose men as mentors. But ladies also choose men, too.

Me:

Can it serve as a life mentoring after marriage?

Can one's mentor intentionally mislead his mentee?

Mute Efe:

Yes.

Me:

If it happens, how could one possibly find out in time?

Mute Efe:

A wife can regard her husband as her mentor for life.

I have never heard of such but it is possible. However, there must have been an issue in the relationship and the mentee would have known that all is no longer well.

Me:

If a mentee has a multiple vital purpose in life, should he/her listen or follow the mentor's advice?

Me:

If I ask you now to be my mentor and it happened that you said yes. What would you expect to be your reward - my success in life or in monitory aspect?

Mute Efe:

If the mentee does not want to follow the mentor's advice he should not have chosen him.

For your second question, I am not accepting mentees right now.

Me:

I will have to find out if I am the right mentor for you.

For example, a musician cannot come and ask me to be his mentor. I will decline.

Me:

What reward mentors accept from their mentees' mostly?

Mute Efe:

Even though mentors may not demand any reward, it is expected that a mentee should appreciate his mentor.

The mentee should use his discretion to determine the form of appreciation.

Me:

Should one seek to be someone's mentor?

Mute Efe:

No.

But one can start a mentoring program and let people decide whether they want him to be their mentor.

I have one mentor that I pay to be in his program. I have another one that I don't pay.

Is it advisable to be a musician and as well be a public motivational speaker?

What secret should I know about mentoring?

Mute Efe:

A public speaker can be in any profession. Once you are successful people will want you to come speak to them

The secret about mentoring is that everybody needs a mentor in one area or another.

Mentorship is the influence, guidance, or direction given by a mentor. A mentor is someone who teaches or gives help and advice to a less experienced and often younger person. In an organizational setting, a mentor influences the personal and professional growth of a mentee. Wikipedia

A mentor is person who has more knowledge than you do. A mentor gives you direction and mostly motivate you when the bridge seem tiny to cross to the next phase of life.

WHO I THOUGHT I WAS - BIOGRAPHY

My name is   Batholomew Obienyi from Agbama Amaidi Achara Uturu, Abia State Nigeria.

I am an Author, Coach, Talent Spotter and a Free Thinker. 

I believe so much in enlightenment and entertainment.

I like music and gym exercises. I practice gym as a hobby and easing myself in listening to songs that I like. I grew up in a very poor family lifestyle and background. 

My father died when I was 3 going to 4 years. My mother could not pay for my school fees again in my class three and that led me to made a decision to follow my gifts which I discovered in my JSS2 class.

I found out that people lack motivation but many do not want to be motivators themselves. I promised myself to be a changing individual. And, I choose to be a motivator.  

I have written more than three unpublished books now such as: 

Our Little World, 

Deep Down I Came Up 

and  A Witch Encounter etc.

They all came as an inspiration and life experience lessons in my earlier twenties.

I turned to a hustler by choice not by force,  I was forced by no one. In my secondary school I recall, our seniors don’t come for us for motivations.  I struggled till I reached 19years.  So, I dedicated my journey here on earth for fulfilling that purpose during my life time which I know would  appear in different forms and level of phases. 

I love speaking in public especially to secondary school students and village rutted individuals whose mindset have been reshaped by poverty and ignorance.

I love discovery and sharing of new ideas with people. I tried my best to be friendly but not listening to what people are telling me on how to live my life unless my mentor or decided one.  I decided to choose my life. To be the change I want to see in the world today. And I followed my bliss.

I decided to do a research about myself in the physical realm and also in the other realms of life. Everything about me! I started learning me. I called it - Mastering Myself from within. 

As am still growing up in my findings, I found this secret that gave me more confidence to live my best life doing what I love and wanted to do. I trust in Buddha words:  

“Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.” - Buddha

But for long, I was working hard jobs to feed and train myself and those things I considered are my responsibilities. I was surviving without fear but having faith in my Creator. I knew it too well that my challenges are always in front of me and I have ways of jumping over them even if I got hurt. 

I became like a giant that wandered at the desert seeking for food and survival. I moved by forces of hunger of knowledge, growth, riches and living a mark on the face of the universe. 

I searched for the secrets of riches and I found my good ways of making a living at age 33.

Nature has lots of good things for us if only we could bend down to master ourselves and do what we love no matter who kicked it off.

"Seek you shall find. Knock the door shall be open. Ask and it shall be given. Believe and you shall receive" - Said Jesus Christ.

We are in a versatile and dynamic world.

I strongly believe that one who follows the Light shall not be afraid of the dark and one who has a map shall not fear the road. One who endures conquers. He who waits has everything.
