UTURU HEROES AND HEROINES

THAT COVID -19 REALLY TOUCHED US DEEPLY   They say, "Prevention is better than cure." Well, that's what  they say many years ago. But here’s the thing; you can’t live your life by listening to every word people throw at you. If you do, you’ll spend your whole life trying to please mouths that will never be satisfied.   That’s exactly how talents get buried. Someone sings well, but "people will laugh". Someone wants to start a small business, but "what will people say". Just like that, dreams die without a second thought. All because of fear of criticism. Hmmm!   They also say, "Half bread is better than none." Okay, I agree with that one.  In life, there is no such thing as "too small to start". That ₦1000 you make today can become ₦10,000 tomorrow. That one video you post today can become the reason 2000 teens get motivated next month.   A lot of people failed before they even started because they were waiting for "the perfect...

He Knew It, He Was For Good Not Bad In MCA Who is Reverend Brother Emmanuel to Marist Compressive Academy , Uturu ? I'm not writing to praise a man of such caliber rather, I'm writing for emphasis of great minds and souls in existence. I know from the beginning he was working for the future not present. Sure, it is the present that governs the future. Initially, I don't know Rev. Brother Emmanuel until he was sent to MCA as a bursar. Though, he is the third bursar I would be working under his authority in the kitchen where I have worked for more than five years now as a cook. Unlike other Brothers I have witnessed, Emma is different and unique in his act of discharging his duty with his workers. I heard it as a story, when he was sent to Marist Nursery and Primary School in the year 2019. He rearranged the school building and its environment. Sure, I know when the primary school building was under renovation process but, I don't know it was him. Many people including p...

6 ADDICTED CHARACTERS THAT DESTROYS A MAN'S DESTINY  Man on earth has a purpose and a destiny to accomplish before the end of his life time on earth. No man is born without a destiny so large if developed.  All men are centered on creativity and design. The world is built and ruled by men of great leaders who believes in the intelligent design processes. "As a man thinkth in his heart, so is he" is an old adage I found in 'Think and Grow Rich' By Napoleon Hill the great writer of his time. Men of destinies are men of great characters. But, there are six attitudes that destroys the man of ignorance. I believe in the statement "awareness is power". One must be aware of these six attitudes that damages a man's vision inspite of how rich and protected he thought he's destiny is. Here are the six characters that destroys a man's destiny for real 1. WOMANIZING  Womanizing is an act of flirting by men with different women who may be mentally disf...

EVEN MY WIFE BECAME FEARFUL AFTER HEARING THIS BIRTH DREAM OF MINE I am glad to share this experience with you, even though it happened in a dream. Of all the dreams I have ever had, this was the only one that truly frightened both my wife and me, because it felt like a revelation of what was to come in the future. Some people may call it a trance, while others may dismiss it as mere imagination. But to us, it was real. Even my wife became deeply afraid after hearing this dream. I have always had meaningful dreams, dreams that often seem to open my eyes to the future. Many times, what I dreamt has later happened in ways I could not explain. But this particular birth dream was different. It touched our family directly. I will be open and sincere as I share this birth dream about our first child. It all began after my wife took in. We had mated as husband and wife, and soon after, we received the joyful news that she was pregnant. As the months passed, we began to expect the first child...

MARIST KITCHEN IN UTURU AND ITS WORK LOAD IN MCA Everybody know that kitchen is a place lots of food are prepared either for eating or for preservation. In Marist kitchen, especially the one in Marist Comprehensive Academy Uturu where I have worked for more than five years now. Read down the stories because nobody can actually give you the exact knowledge of what the work in the kitchen is all about more than the one you will get here in few minutes.  Marist is a big educational establishment all over the world. They are organized scholars mostly in religious form. All their activities are centered in prayers and grooming the young talented minds who would grow up to become lasting legends. In the kitchen department where I worked, we stayed near boys hostels and witnessing all the activities going on within the premises. I won't be saying much on boys behavours here because I want to share our work patterns and few selected challenges we face in the kitchen work as a cook. Normal...
